I am Yorkshire Artist Ian Bostock, a painter based in Methley, Leeds. I paint modern and traditional pieces as well as pet portraits, for which I have built a local reputation. I am largely inspired by nature and the natural world. Other influences include music and science. I am largely self taught although I studied for two years at Chester Art College.

Most of my work is produced using acrylics on different sized canvas. However commissions for oils can be taken as well. Many of my original paintings are for sale on this site and all are available as signed greetings cards and canvas prints. Some of the modern prints are hand finished with metallic paint. Prices for original paintings start from as little as £90. Greetings cards are £1.65 (A5). Canvas prints are from £60.00. Postage and packing is included and we operate a full money back guarantee on everything but commissions within 14 days.
